Illustrations for Tinder Germany's social media
THE CHALLENGE
Tinder Germany approached me to create a series of illustrations on the topic of online dating, aiming to bring humor, sass, and a touch of sarcasm to the conversation. At the time, Tinder was working to expand its appeal beyond its reputation as a hookup app, positioning itself as a platform for connection and community. A key part of this strategy was engaging more with a female audience and making the dating experience feel more relatable and fun. My role was to translate this vision into playful, witty illustrations that would spark conversations and resonate with users.

How might I use humor and illustration to make online dating feel more relatable, fun, and inviting?

THE OUTCOME
Over the course of five months, I created five illustrations, each inspired by real dating experiences—both my own and those of my friends. The goal was to capture the ups and downs of modern dating in a way that felt fresh, funny, and engaging. These illustrations were shared as part of a social media collaboration between Tinder and me, with both of us posting them on Instagram to maximize their reach. The campaign ran as an ongoing visual conversation, making the experience of online dating feel more lighthearted and inviting. Through humor and storytelling, the project helped Tinder connect with its audience in a more personal and relatable way.
